Alexandra del Moral Mealer is First to the Airwaves with Major Broadcast and Digital buy of $1.5 Million

HARRIS COUNTY – Harris County Judge candidate Alexandra del Moral Mealer introduced herself to voters in her first campaign advertisement of the General Election that began airing today. Her campaign made an advertising reservation for the month of September totaling $1.5M million. 
 
Over a family car ride that arrives at a rally full of supporters, Alexandra gives voters a look into her dynamic background as a mother, a combat veteran in the Army bomb squad, a West Point grad with a Harvard JD and MBA, and an energy finance professional.
 
With these achievements under her belt, “Why run against Lina Hidalgo for Harris County Judge?” Alexandra asks. “Well, I’ve never been one to back down from a challenge.”
 
Alexandra goes on to highlight one of Lina’s most egregious failures— the public safety crisis inundating Harris County residents and threatening families, a particularly stark realization as the camera pans to Alexandra with her young daughter.
 
“I can fix it,” says Alexandra, “And I’m not the only one who thinks so.”
 
Her statement holds true, as Alexandra was a dark horse candidate in the primary election with little support or funding to start, but her hustle and fight earned her the largest share of votes in the March election. She went on to win a landslide runoff victory. Since then, Alexandra has outraised Lina, and is in a dead heat with her according to public polls.
